Scrapbook Challenge

Life Is An Adventure

Yellow, Blue and Turquoise

Hi scrappers! I’m back for week two of guest designing with Lasting Memories. I used a photo of my husband that he took when he was scuba diving. The colors in the photo really pop with the yellows and blues in the papers I chose.

I used some navy cardstock by The Paper Studio because I knew the papers I layered on top would really stand out. I cut some Mint Green Honeycomb paper by Recollections into three strips and pasted them at varying lengths. I found some really cool paper from Echo Park’s For the Record 2 6 X 6 collection that looks like old Spirograph designs and placed those behind my photo. I added a few strips of skinny washi tape by Bo Bunny and embellished with some acetate pieces by 49 and Market, tropical ephemera by Art-C, some metal pieces that matched the spirograph patterns and a few enamel dots by Carta Bella.

I am a guest design over at Lasting Memories for the month of June. This page was made for their second challenge. Please join us here and play along!

This page was made for case file 457 at Color, Stories, Inspiration. I really liked the color palette and the Echo Park Paper I found matched up with the given color palette pretty closely! I incorporated the following “Evidence”:

  • Floral Pattern

  • Hexagons

  • Cursive Font

  • Metal

  • Transparent Elements

  • Circles

That’s all for this week. Come join me and play along with a Taylor Swift themed challenge I host every month. June’s can be found here and I’d love for you to play along!
